Dr Sanjay Garude is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in Arthroscopy and Sports medicine.
He completed his post graduation from LTMG Hospital ( Sion hospital ), Mumbai in 1994 and stood first in the university at the MS Orth and the D'Orth examination.
He then proceeded to UK where he trained for a further 3 years and secured the MCh Orth degree from the Liverpool University in 1997. During this time he trained for various advanced arthroscopic surgeries especially of the shoulder and knee joints.
On his return from UK, he worked at L T M General hospital, Mumbai for 3 years as a Clinical lecturer. This tenure provided him with an opportunity to put into practice the various arthroscopic techniques that he was exposed to in England.
Over the years, he has spent time pursing further training in arthroscopy and sports medicine in USA (Chicago, Los Angeles) and Australia ( Perth ).
He is an active member and faculty at various national meetings organized by the Indian Arthroscopy Society.
He is also a member of ISAKOS (International Society for Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine).
He has published papers related to his arthroscopic work at various national and international journals.
Dr Garude has been performing arthroscopic surgeries since 1995 and is attached to reputed hospitals in Mumbai.
